Endodontics
What Is Endodontics?
Endodontics is specific to the inner pulp of each tooth. Every one of your teeth has a small pulp inside, which houses the nerves and blood supply to every tooth. When left infected or exposed, this pulp can begin to experience problems and may require a root canal. Likewise, another treatment of endodontics involves dental implants, which help to replace missing teeth within the mouth. The field of endodontics is important to the overall health and wellness of your smile. We can perform dental exams and x-rays as needed to determine if you would benefit from any one of the procedures we have available.
Root Canals
A root canal is a procedure that involves full removal of a tooth’s pulp. When the pulp becomes infected by decay or has been left exposed through a crack or fracture, you’ll experience severe pain and sensitivity. Unfortunately, there’s no way to calm this pain and sensitivity down other than performing a root canal and removing the infected pulp. Despite root canals being one of the most dreaded procedures in dental offices worldwide, they’re incredibly common, easy to perform and beneficial to the health of your mouth. Root canals help to retain the structure of a tooth without fully extracting it.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are often made with titanium to provide a strong and relatively permanent option for lost teeth. If you’re missing one, several or all of your teeth, implants can be placed easily and quickly. The implants will naturally bond with the underlying bone in roughly six months and crowns, bridge work and dentures can be made specifically to sit on top of these new restorations. Implants are easy to place and can last for longer than two or three decades without needing any type of maintenance, repair or replacement. Implants have become a go-to option for patients who are tired of feeling badly about their appearance and want to make a drastic change.

Periodontics
Gum disease affects nearly half of all adults over the age of 30. As the disease progresses, small pockets form around your teeth, allowing plaque, bacteria and debris to gather in this area and further infect the gums.
Clear Aligners
Clear Aligners are a treatment that gently move teeth into place. The trays are worn in a series over time to create a beautiful smile. Clear Aligners are a popular alternative to traditional braces, and do not have any brackets or wires.
